Baby Update

Megan After Church

Ellie and Tyson Snuggling

So much has happened since our last post, I don't know where to begin. We are looking for another place to live, although we are trying for something that we should find out this week if we can get it or not.

I also wanted to just say that we are not upset about having to move. I think it will work out well for all of us.

We were going to look into building a house in Vernal, but because of lack of communication and no trust in that family, we won't be getting a piece of land in La Point anymore. All it caused was hurt feelings.

Chabrise and Tonya have been to their dad's houses for vacation time and are all returning home tonight. We will be getting ready for school and the Blessings for the twins. I am hoping to get family pictures taken before everyone shows up this weekend, but with Megan and Tyson both sick (coughing and sniffling) and after looking at Chabrise I may not accomplish this.

Chabrise came home from Trek yesterday. She had an awesome experience. Although I had the living daylights scared out of me about all of it. First off, Chabrise has asthma. It seems to be brought on with extreme exertion. I did make sure that we picked up her inhaler (the night before she left) along with other last minute supplies after we dropped off her bag and bucket. Well, needless to say, the inhaler was the one thing she forgot. The MOST important thing. I didn't figure this out until Friday afternoon when I was getting out Tyson's prescription and found hers sitting there with it. When I was picking her up from the Stake Center, I was asked which child mine was. I told them it was Chabrise. I was then told that she got really sick on the trek. They weren't sure with what or why, just she spent the majority of trek with the medics. I knew nothing else until after Chabrise got off the bus. Which gave me about 20 minutes to go through worst case scenarios. I could have just cried when I saw her, she was walking and looked just fine.

Chabrise will have to tell you all about the Trek, or maybe I will have her post her story later. But basically she just got hiking on Tuesday and that evening she had an asthma attack. I guess it was pretty severe. A medic (an amazingly awesome medic) had brought along an inhaler because he felt impressed that it would be needed. The tried several times with the inhaler and it didn't work for her. Her heart rate was way to high. They ended up giving her some steroids and an IV. Which helped, but the attack was so severe that she spent the majority of the Trek riding in a cart or in a car. She did walk until she couldn't anymore. On Thursday night when they did the woman's pull up the hill, she wasn't able to help her family because of her health issues. She did walk most of Friday (I did hear that she had determination and extreme spirit for that last day). She did have a blessing given to her by the Stake President and her medic on Friday night. She was still having breathing issues. Immediately after the blessing, someone had brought up some Vicks Vapor rub to help her open up a little more. I know that she was being watched over. I know that she is being protected for something very special. I just hope that she can remember this for a long time. But for anymore of the story, we will have to let her tell it. I am just greatful for people that listening to promptings and for Chabrise being able to have this chance. It definitely made my testimony that much stronger.
