1 Month Old

The twins are now a month old today!! (Pictures to be posted later.)

Ellie and Tyson are turning 1 month today and are growing big. They still aren't home yet and are still trying to learn to try and eat. That is all that they need to do. I fill like the Aunt that comes over for a few hours and leaves, comes back the next day and the next and the next... etc. I don't think it hasn't even really hit that they are going to be all mine soon. I don't even feel like the Mom half the time. We are hoping that they will be home at the end of the month, but that is still subjective.

Ellie is on oxygen right now (since Mother's Day) and will probably come home with it (which means that we will have to have a room in night). But she should grow out of it really soon. I look forward to getting them home and letting life return to normal, well as normal as we can get with our new addition. Tyson is over 6 lbs now and Ellie is getting up there. They are growing so fast and changing so much, I can hardly believe that it has been a month now. I am meeting a lot of mom's in NICU that have amazing stories and I am so grateful that they are there to support each other. Another one of the life experiences that you wouldn't wish upon anyone but are glad that you survived it.
