Thank You for your Service

I grew up in a house where I never knew anyone who served in the military and didn't really truly understand their sacrifice. As soon as I graduated from High School, I started to know some of the new recruits, so there were friends that were out there. And then I married into a family that had Veterans (we were later divorced) but I still see them very often. I have many friends that have gone over to Iraq, Afghanistan... etc. I can see the families as they struggle with their loved ones so far away and don't know if they will come home. I talk to several of them about pulling out now and how that will hurt us and them. It is all a struggle, because they want to be home but know they need to be there too. They struggle being here or there, a constant pull on their lives. Some having served more than 1 or 2 tours so far.

So I want to stand up, and say I love our Troops!!! I support our Troops!! And I am so greatful that a day has been set aside for honoring them.

Thank you... Thank you... Thank you...
