I haven't posted a whole lot about the family and have tons to catch up on this summer. It has been an very interesting summer. But here are some pictures from the 4th of July weekend.

Tyson trying to get in the house... there was a dog in there that he thought he needed.

Ellie in her cute bow (that I made) on the lawn... that she hated touching. She normally smiles.

Megan and her cousin Elizabeth, who she lovingly called Cait and Emmy the entire time she was here. They are also wearing bows made by me. Cute girls!

Our gather at Charles and Peggy's house. They live right behind the Lavell Edwards Stadium. It is tradition for us to go there every year. They are eye level with the stadium, just up the hill from the Stadium east parking lot. It was great, except Megan is petrified of fireworks. She doesn't like the loud noise. If you are ever standing close to her and fireworks go off, grab her. She runs and cries.

This was a big flag (from the back... not reversed). They had to lift it with cranes. This picture was while they were taking it down because of the wind, but one of my favorite pictures of it. You can see the tops of cars and trees, it gives you perspective to it's size and shows you how close we are to the Stadium.
I will try to post more. Much has happened at our house. A lot really. But I have been very sick for the past 2 1/2 weeks. I haven't even had the energy to do laundry. I finally went to the dr's, for the 3rd time (ER once)... lots of copays, prescriptions and money later. I think I am finally on the mend. Not to mention that the 2 older girls have been gone for their Dad Summer break and we have also been sick with flu. Very hectic and stressful. Now we are getting ready for school. Scary thought. Less than a month before school starts. Should be interesting.

Your kids are getting so big! And so cute!
Wow, it won't be long and your babies won't be babies any more. Did you see that we were sitting right by the flag. That is a great picture. I am glad you are getting better. It is never fun to be sick but it is even worse in the summer. Get well soon. Love ya!
You had great seats for the fireworks! Sorry you have been sick. 2 1/2 weeks can feel like FOREVER! Especially during the summer when you are supposed to be doing lots of fun things. I hope you are on the mend.
I can't believe school is starting in a month either! It makes me sad. Summer is my favorite time of year and I really do enjoy having the kids be home. I guess there is a time for everything, right?
